The FSA proposed draft amendments to the “Cabinet Office Ordinance on Disclosure of Corporate Affairs.” The proposal provides an exemption of reporting “notable matters for third-party allocation of securities” at the filing of securities registration statement when such third-party allocation is transacted as equity-based compensation for directors and officers.

The FSA finalized the amendments to the regulatory notice (Ministry of Finance Regulatory Notice No. 48/1996) which stipulates the method of funding the policy reserve and the level of coefficients for calculating the amount of the policy reserve regarding long-term insurance contracts pursuant to the “Insurance Business Act.” The regulatory notice was enforced on 22 June 2016.
