The FSA finalized the amendments to the “Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Financial Instruments Business Operators,” which update items in business reports for the filing of specially permitted business for qualified institutional investors (SPBQII), and start public inspection of matters filed by the notifiers of SPBQII on the FSA’s website. These amendments are in accordance with the enforcement of the “Act for Partial Revision of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act (enforced on March 1, 2016),” which mandates the filing of business reports by the notifiers of SPBQII, and starts public inspection of matters filed by the notifiers of SPBQII.
