May 13, 2019 | Establishment of the “Specialized Study Group on Japanese Market Structure” under the Financial System Council and publication of the agenda and handouts of its first meeting < Summary> The FSA established the “Specialized Study Group on Japanese Market Structure” under the Financial System Council to deepen discussions on Japanese market structure continuously and professionally by collectively gathering ideas/suggestions from experts across relevant sectors. The Specialized Study Group consists of academic experts, economic organizations, and analysts across relevant sectors as main members who are well versed in the respective market structures, with the participation of observers from relevant ministries/agencies and financial instruments exchanges. The FSA serves as the secretariat of the Specialized Study Group. In this context, the FSA held the first meeting of the Specialized Study Group on May 17, 2019 and published the agenda and handouts. |
