The FSA has finalized the "Cabinet Office Order to Amend the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Money Lending Business Act." The amendments mainly reflect in the Ordinance the updates to the "Act for the Partial Revision of the Health Insurance Act for Proper and Efficient Operation of the Medical Insurance System" (Act No. 9 of 2019),* which was promulgated on May 22, 2020. The amendments have been enforced since October 1, 2020.
* This Act is under the purview of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

The FSA has finalized the amendments to the "Cabinet Office Order on Disclosure Required for Tender Offer for Share Certificates, etc. by Person Other than Issuer" and to the "FAQ on Tender Offer for Share Certificates, etc." (provisional English title). The amendments mainly remove certain entry items of documents for the disclosure in regard to tender offer for share certificates, in response to requests for deregulation from the financial sector and relevant industry organizations. The amended Cabinet Office Order has been enforced since September 30, 2020.

The FSA finalized the "Cabinet Office Order to Amend the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Banking Act, etc." The amendments to the Ordinance have been made in accordance with the "the Act for Partial Revision of the Act on Facilitation of Management Succession of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises for Promotion of Business Succession of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises and Other Acts (Act No. 58 of 2020)" (provisional English law title) promulgated on June 19, 2020. The amendments have been enforced since October 1, 2020.

The Kanto Local Finance Bureau issued the statement titled "Financial Measures in Response to the Report of the Classical Swine Fever (CSF, a.k.a. Hog Cholera)" to the relevant financial institutions in Gunma Prefecture. The statement requests the financial institutions to cooperate with prefectural authorities and appropriately deal with CSF-affected parties such as pig farms considering their circumstances, such as by attentively responding to the needs of business management consultation and new loans or change of loan terms.
