February 28, 2024 Publication of the agenda and handouts of the second meeting of "Dialogue on Enhancing Sustainability Investment Products" (provisional English title)
<Summary>
The FSA published the agenda and handouts of the second meeting of "Dialogue on Enhancing Sustainability Investment Products,"* which was held on February 26, 2024.
In the second meeting, three guest practitioners from the private sector respectively gave presentations on practices, the current status, and so forth pertaining to sustainability investment products in foreign countries, whereupon the participants engaged in a discussion based on the topics presented.

*The Dialogue is aimed at sharing basic awareness of the desirable state of Green Transformation (GX) investments and sustainability investment products in the Japanese market through dialogue with relevant stakeholders. The meetings for the said Dialogue will be held with broad participation on a case-by-case basis by practitioners and professionals from various sectors involved in sustainable investment products, including asset management companies, distributors, portfolio companies (investees), individual investors, and relevant associations. The FSA serves as the secretariat.

The FSA's Counseling Office for Financial Services Users offers a counseling service to respond to inquiries and comments from financial services users. Between October 1 and December 31, 2023, the counseling office received 13,346 inquiries and comments, remaining roughly flat from 13,271 cases in the previous quarter (between July 1 and September 30, 2023).

February 28, 2024 Publication of the list of “financial service providers” (as of December 27, 2023) and an analysis report on the common KPIs (as of March 31, 2023)

The FSA updated the list of “financial service providers” who reported the status of their initiatives and efforts in a predetermined way based on the "Principles for Customer-Oriented Business Conduct" as of December 27, 2023. 
The FSA also published an updated trend analysis report on the common KPIs comparable across investment trust and foreign currency-denominated insurance distributors reported by the respective financial service providers as of March 31, 2023.

February 26, 2024 Announcement pertaining to FY2023 commendations for contribution to the dissemination and advancement of financial literacy in Japan 
<Summary>
The FSA and the BOJ (Bank of Japan) announced that they have decided to commend 12 individuals and three organizations for their contribution to the dissemination and advancement of financial literacy among the public in Japan as of FY 2023. 
In light of further promoting activities to advance the nation's literacy on finance and its underlying economy, yearly commendations are given to individuals and organizations* that have adopted good practices in contributing to the dissemination and advancement of financial literacy among the public in Japan. 
The applicable local authorities in the respective prefectures will notify the persons or organizations to be awarded (hereinafter referred to as "the awardees") to that effect, thereby commending the awardees with the certificates of commendation co-signed by the Minister of State for Financial Services and the Governor of the BOJ in due course.
