The FSA proposed a draft revision to the Order limiting the operations of Japan Post Bank and Japan Post Insurance. The revision adds acts that could cause fluctuation in the capital adequacy ratio to the list of matters to be disclosed. This revision follows the draft revision of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Banking Act proposed on February 24, 2014.

The FSA proposed a draft ordinance regulating specially permitted investment business for qualified institutional investors. The revision aims to protect retail investors by narrowing the range of investors to whom the specially permitted investment business can sell funds to those with a certain level of investment capabilities.

The FSA published an amendment of the FSA's Civil Protection Plan pursuant to the Act Concerning Measures to Protect Japanese Citizens During Armed Attacks and Others. In the amendment, the FSA added Electronic Monetary Claim Recording Institutions to the list of institutions with which the FSA requests to provide financial measures in response to the event of an armed attack.
