February 18, 2015:	Publication of Order and Guidelines for Supervision implementing the 2014 revisions of the "Insurance Business Act" «Summary» The FSA proposed drafts of "Order and Ordinance for Enforcement of the Insurance Business Act" and "Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Insurance Companies," implementing the 2014 revisions of the "Insurance Business Act." The draft Order, Ordinance and Guidelines update the rules regarding insurance solicitors' obligations to provide adequate information to customers, try to accommodate the customers’ intentions, and develop the compliance system for appropriate insurance solicitation.
February 18, 2015:	Publication of amendments to the FSA regulatory standard pursuant to the provisions of the “Ordinance for Enforcement of the Insurance Business Act” «Summary» The FSA proposed draft amendments to the regulatory standard pursuant to the “Ordinance for Enforcement of the Insurance Business Act.” The amendments provide new calculation methods for the interest rate gap in liability adequacy test.
February 17, 2015:	Publication of amendments to the FSA’s Regulatory notice of “The Designated IFRSs" «Summary» On February 17, 2015, the FSA proposed draft amendments to the Regulatory Notice of "The Designated IFRSs” stipulated in the "Regulation for Terminology, Forms and Preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements." The amendments add the international accounting standards published by the International Accounting Standards Board between July 1 and December 31, 2014, to the list of designated IFRSs that can be used in Japan.
February 13, 2015:	Publication of amendments to the Order and Cabinet Office Ordinance implementing the 2014 revisions of the “Financial Instruments and Exchange Act” «Summary» The FSA proposed draft amendments to the "Order for Enforcement of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act" and the "Cabinet Office Ordinance on Financial Instruments Business." The draft amendments aim to improve the investment-based crowdfunding system, facilitate new stock listing as well as funding, and provide rules regarding financial benchmarks.
February 13, 2015:	Publication of amendments to the “Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Major Banks” and “Inspection Manuals” «Summary» The FSA proposed draft amendments to the “Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Major Banks” and “Inspection Manuals.” The amendments aim to request financial institutions to adequately improve their information/cyber security management systems, and to strengthen security measures for internet banking services and for drawing customers’ attention to such measures.
February 6, 2015:	Publication of amendments to the “Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Major Banks” and “Inspection Manuals” regarding the regulations on liquidity coverage ratio «Summary» The FSA proposed draft amendments to the “Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Major Banks” and “Inspection Manuals” regarding the regulations on the liquidity coverage ratio. From the end of March 2015, the regulations on the liquidity coverage ratio for internationally active banks will be implemented. The FSA will finalize the “Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Major Banks” and “Inspection Manuals” after a one-month public consultation.

Announcement of FY2014 Awards for Advancing Financial Literacy «Summary» The Financial Services Agency and the Bank of Japan announced 18 individuals and 1 group for their contributions in advancing financial literacy. In order to further promote the activities to advance literacy regarding finance and the economy, the awards are given to individuals and groups for their outstanding contributions in advancing and improving the nation's financial literacy by the Minister for Financial Services and the Governor of the Bank of Japan.
