April 21, 2015:

Publication of the updated “Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Major Banks” and “Inspection Manuals” regarding the security measures for IT risk management and internet banking services «Summary» On April 21, 2015, the FSA finalized amendments to the “Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Major Banks” and “Inspection Manuals.” Amendments were made to ensure that financial institutions adequately improve their information/cyber security management systems, and strengthen security measures for internet banking services.

Outline of the "Report on the measures for the resolution of failed financial institutions" delivered by the Minister of State for Financial Services, Taro Aso, in the Committee on Financial Affairs of the House of Representatives «Summary» On April 24, 2015, the Minister of State for Financial Services, Taro Aso, delivered a statement on the “Reports on the measures for the resolution of failed financial institutions” in the Committee on Financial Affairs of the House of Representatives. This statement covers three semi-annual reports submitted to the Diet, pursuant to the “Act on Emergency Measures for the Revitalization of the Financial Functions,” namely, one over the period between April 1 and September 30, 2013, another over the period between October 1, 2013 and March 31, 2014, and the other over the period between April 1 and September 30, 2014.

April 24, 2015:	Administrative penalty charge against persons for committing insider trading regarding the stocks of Tomen Electronics Corp. (1)(2)(3)(4) «Summary» On April 23, 2015, the FSA issued orders to impose administrative penalty charges in a case regarding the insider trading of Tomen Electronics Corp. stocks, using information received from an officer of the company who concluded a contract with the tender offeror.
April 24, 2015:	Administrative penalty charge against SJI Inc., for making false statements in securities reports «Summary» On April 23, 2015, the FSA issued an order to impose an administrative penalty charge against SJI Inc., for making false statements in its securities reports.
April 24, 2015:	Administrative penalty charge against a corporation for committing insider trading regarding stocks of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings «Summary» On April 23, 2015, the FSA issued an order to impose administrative penalty charges against a corporation for committing insider trading of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings stocks using information received from an officer of the company who concluded a contract with the tender offeror.
April 24, 2015:	Administrative penalty charge against persons for committing insider trading regarding stocks of Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation (1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(6)(7)(8)(9) «Summary» On April 23, 2015, the FSA issued orders to impose administrative penalty charges against corporations and persons committing insider trading of Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation stocks, using information received from an officer and an employee of Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation.
April 24, 2015:	Publication of "Statistics of NISA Accounts" «Summary» The FSA published "Statistics of NISA Accounts". As of December 31, 2014, there were 8.25 million NISA accounts in total, and over 2.98 trillion yen (approximately USD 25.0 billion) was invested through the NISA accounts.
