The FSA proposed the draft amendments to the regulatory notices and guidelines pertaining to Pillar 3 disclosure requirements in respect of the review of interest rate monitoring methods, following the regulatory notices and guidelines pertaining to the Pillar 3 disclosure requirements and monitoring of interest rate risks which were updated in December 2017. The proposal mainly pertains to the disclosure of interest rate risks of banks subject to domestic standards.

The FSA finalized a cabinet office order to amend the “Regulation on Terminology, Forms and Preparation Methods of Consolidated Financial Statements,” following the ASBJ’s publication of an accounting standard for revenue recognition (ASBJ Statement No.29) and its implementation guidance (ASBJ Guidance No.30). The order was enforced on June 8, 2018.
