November 7, 2025	The FSA published the experiment project eligible for support for the FinTech PoC Hub/Payment Innovation Project (PIP). November 7, 2025	The FSA publicized the establishment of the Payment Innovation Project (PIP). In order to alleviate the hesitations and concerns that FinTech companies and financial institutions tend to have when conducting unprecedented Proof-of-Concept experiments, the FSA established the FinTech PoC Hub in September 2017 and has supported PoC experiments of financial institutions, etc. from the aspect of the interpretation of relevant laws and regulations and the summarization of issues regarding compliance and responses to supervision. This time, the FSA established the Payment Innovation Project (PIP) dedicated to the payment-related field in the FinTech PoC Hub. Staff members with deep insights in the payment-related field, such as knowledge on blockchain technologies and relevant laws and regulations and overseas trends, are intensively allocated to the PIP and offer support to individual PoC experiments.
