The FSA published information on public consultation on the draft Cabinet Order Partially Amending the Cabinet Order on Travel Expenses and Allowances for Witnesses and Expert Witnesses in Trial Procedures, etc. under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and the draft Cabinet Order Partially Amending the Cabinet Order on Travel Expenses and Allowances for Witnesses and Expert Witnesses in Trial Procedures, etc. under the Certified Public Accountants Act. In consideration of the recent fluctuations in economic conditions, the amendments aim to raise the maximum amounts of daily allowances for witnesses and expert witnesses in trial procedures in relation to payment orders for administrative monetary penalties from 8,450 yen to 8,750 yen and from 8,050 yen to 8,350 yen, respectively, based on the provisions of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and the Certified Public Accountants Act.
