What’s NewGLOPAC Newsletter Vol. 19 Just Published

The GLOPAC 20th Fellowship Program for securities started in February 2022 and was completed in June. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 situation was not good enough to conduct a face-to-face program; therefore, this was the 4th time we had conducted fully online training. Ten fellows from Asia, Middle East, Africa and South America proactively participated in the online program, despite the time differences and their day-to-day work in their organizations. Meeting online a few days a week for four months enabled us to build up a strong network with JFSA officials and also among fellows. We discussed the capital market, securities regulations and the Covid-19 situation in each country, not only to share knowledge and experience but also to deepen our mutual understanding. Furthermore, we talked about topical issues like crypto-assets and sustainable finance to catch up with the latest trends. At the GLOPAC secretariat we hope that we can welcome you safely here in Tokyo to conduct a physical, short-term follow up program!
