April 1, 2015:	Publication of updated "Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Major Banks" and "Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Regional Financial Institutions" «Summary» The FSA finalized the amendments to "Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Major Banks" and "Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Regional Financial Institutions." The amendments were made on the provisions regarding other businesses incidental to the banking business, based on the industrial group’s requests for deregulation. No change has been made to the original proposal.
March 31, 2015:	Publication of the updated FSA regulatory standard pursuant to the provisions of the "Ordinance for Enforcement of the Insurance Business Act" «Summary» The FSA finalized amendments to the FSA regulatory standard pursuant to the provisions of the “Ordinance for Enforcement of the Insurance Business Act.” The amendments provide new calculation methods for the interest rate gap in a liability adequacy test. No change has been made to the proposed draft.
March 30, 2015:	Publication of the updated FSA regulatory notice designating “The Designated IFRSs" «Summary» The FSA finalized the updated regulatory notice designating "Designated IFRSs” as stipulated in the "Regulation for Terminology, Forms and Preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements." The amendment adds the IFRSs published by the International Accounting Standards Board between July 1 and December 31, 2014, to the list of designated IFRSs that can be used in Japan. No change has been made to the original proposal.
March 30, 2015:	Publication of the Cabinet Office Ordinance to amend the "Ordinance for Enforcement of the Banking Act" «Summary» The FSA finalized the Cabinet Office Ordinance to amend the "Ordinance for Enforcement of the Banking Act." The amendments reflect the changes in the "Cabinet Office Ordinance on Terminology, Forms, and Preparation Methods of Financial Statements" and will be enforced from April 1, 2015 (a part of provisions will be enforced from March 30, 2015). No change has been made to the proposed draft.
March 26, 2015:	Publication of the updated "Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Major Banks" and "Inspection Manuals" regarding the regulations on liquidity coverage ratio «Summary» The FSA finalized amendments to the “Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Major Banks” and “Inspection Manuals” regarding the regulations on the liquidity coverage ratio. From the end of March 2015, the regulations on the liquidity coverage ratio for internationally active banks are implemented.

The updated Business Revitalization Plan of Shinsei Bank Ltd. «Summary» The FSA accepted the updated Business Revitalization Plan of Shinsei Bank Ltd.

March 31, 2015:

Figures regarding suspended repayments following the Great East Japan Earthquake (as of December 31, 2014) «Summary» The FSA published the number of debtors and the amount of debt for which the contractual repayment has been suspended following the Great East Japan Earthquake, based on hearings with financial institutions in the three prefectures most heavily affected by the earthquake (Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima).

Securities

April 1, 2015:	Cabinet Office Ordinance to amend the "Ordinance on Accountings of Investment Corporations" «Summary» The FSA published the Cabinet Office Ordinance to amend the "Ordinance on Accountings of Investment Corporations." The amendment adds accounting items necessary for tax measures pertaining to the FY 2015 tax reform, which changed the definition of dividends related to investment corporations.
April 1, 2015:	Publication of updated "Comprehensive Guidelines" and "Guidelines for Administrative Processes" «Summary» The FSA updated its "Comprehensive Guidelines" and "Guidelines for Administrative Processes" pursuant to the enforcement of the "Act on Partial Revision of the Income Tax Act."

March 31, 2015:

Publication of the Cabinet Office Ordinance to amend the "Ordinance for Enforcement of the Insurance Business Act" and the "Ordinance for Enforcement of the Act on Securitization of Assets" «Summary» The FSA published the Cabinet Office Ordinance to amend the "Ordinance for Enforcement of the Insurance Business Act" and the "Ordinance for Enforcement of the Act on Securitization of Assets," pursuant to the amendment to the "Ordinance for Enforcement of the Certified Public Tax Accountants Act."

April 3, 2015:	Notification of business discontinuance of a foreign audit firm «Summary» The FSA published the notification of the discontinuance of business submitted by a foreign audit firm, Baker Tilly Cayman Ltd., pursuant to the "Certified Public Accountants Act."
April 1, 2015:	Publication of the updated FSA Civil Protection Plan «Summary» The FSA published the updated FSA Civil Protection Plan pursuant to the "Act Concerning the Measures for Protection of the People in Armed Attack Situations."
March 31, 2015:	Focused review on securities filings for FY2015 «Summary» The FSA will conduct a focused review on securities filings for FY2015. The focused review will be conducted based on the gathered information and in accordance with the priority issues. The priority issues for FY2015 are retirement benefit plans and operating segments.
March 31, 2015:	Matters that need to be addressed in securities filings (FY 2015) «Summary» The FSA published the matters that need to be addressed in securities filings in FY2015. The matters are categorized into two types, 1) matters related to the newly applied disclosure regulations and accounting standards, and 2) matters related to the results of the focused review on securities filings of the prior year.
