The FSA published information on public consultation on the draft Cabinet Office Order Partially Amending the Cabinet Office Order on Disclosure of Corporate Affairs. The "interim report of the Working Group on Disclosure and Assurance of Sustainability-Related Financial Information of the Financial System Council," which was published in July 2025, presents the policy to oblige the application of the sustainability disclosure standards to companies listed on the TSE Prime Market with a market capitalization above a certain level in stages from the term ending in March 2027. In response, the draft aims to amend the Cabinet Office Order on Disclosure of Corporate Affairs and the Points to Note Regarding Disclosure of Corporate Affairs (Guideline for the Disclosure of Corporate Affairs) for the purpose of required development of institutions.
