FSA Institute’s Past Activities

(FY2011)

The FSA Institute's primary activities in FY2011 were as follows.

  • The results of research conducted by research fellows and other research staff of the FSA Institute were compiled into 13 research papers, and were published as the FSA Institute's Discussion Papers.
  • The FSA Institute held two international conferences in FY2011. One of them was titled “Asian Market Integration and Financial Innovation” and was jointly hosted by the Japan Securities Dealers Association and the Tokyo Stock Exchange Group, Inc. The conference had 545 participants. The other conference was titled “New Paradigms for Financial Regulation and Macro Policies: Emerging Market Perspectives” and was jointly organized with the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI). It had 59 participants.
  • The FSA Institute’s Study Group on Corporate Financing and Governance had six meetings in total to exchange information and discuss issues related to corporate financing.
  • The FSA Institute conducted 69 training courses targeted at FSA personnel, with a focus on providing expertise training on financial affairs and practices.
