FSA Institute’s Past Activities
(July 2021-June 2022)
The FSA Institute’s primary activities in business year 2021 (July 2021-June 2022) were as follows.
- Compiling the results of research conducted by Research Fellows, Associate Research Fellows, Special Research Fellows of the FSA Institute, and of joint reserach by FSA Institute Director and FSA staff, into five research papers, and publishing them as the FSA Institute’s Discussion Papers.
- In June 2022, the FSA Institute supported, in cooperation with the Graduate School of Environmental Finance (Yonsei University, Korea), a webinar on "Green Finance Development in Japan and Korea" organized by the Green Finance Network Japan and the Green Finance Forum-Korea. The webinar discussed issues on transition finance, including ESG disclosure and greenwashing.
- In addressing important financial policy issues, the FSA Institute promoted collaboration with relevant institutions through joint research between FSA staff and researchers at universities and other research institutions to obtain research findings that are useful both in terms of administrative conduct and academic achievements. The FSA Institute also improved its research environment necessary for research activity.
- The FSA Institute provided 47 training courses to FSA personnel, with a focus on enhancing courses for acquiring systematic knowledge and high-level expertise on financial administration. Besides these trainings, it provided online courses aimed at obtaining certified qualifications.
